Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Twine website and app, operated by Scripps Labs LLC ("Twine", "we", "us"). By using Twine, you agree to these Terms.

Who can use Twine

You must be at least 18 years old to use Twine. By using it, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and that you have the authority to provide it.

The service

Twine helps couples discover wedding vendors and plan their wedding, and lets vendors list and be discovered. Features and availability may change as we develop the product. The Twine app is free for couples.

Waitlist and early access

Joining a waitlist reserves your place for early access; it is not a guarantee of availability, pricing, or a specific launch date. Any dates or figures shown are estimates and may change.

Vendor subscriptions and payments

• Vendor subscriptions are billed through Stripe on a recurring basis at the rate shown at signup. "Founding" and "grandfathered" rates apply for as long as the subscription remains continuously active, subject to these Terms.
• You can cancel at any time; cancellation stops future renewals and takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable.
• We may change standard pricing prospectively; we will give notice of changes that affect you.

Agency referral program

• Approved agency partners earn a recurring referral payout for each vendor who subscribes through their referral link and remains active, at the rate communicated on approval.
• Payouts are made via Stripe Connect to the account you onboard; you are responsible for the accuracy of your payout details and for any taxes on amounts you receive.
• Payouts accrue only while both the referred vendor's subscription and your partnership remain active, and stop when either ends. We may adjust rates prospectively, withhold payouts for fraud or abuse, or end the program with notice.

Acceptable use

Don't misuse Twine: no unlawful, infringing, deceptive, or abusive activity; no scraping or attempting to disrupt or reverse-engineer the service; no impersonation; and no uploading content you don't have the right to share.

The Vera concierge

Vera provides general wedding-planning suggestions generated by AI and may be inaccurate or incomplete. It is not professional (legal, financial, or other) advice. Verify important details before relying on them.

Content

You retain ownership of the content you submit — including vision-board photos you upload and any wedding website you publish through Twine. You confirm you have the rights to that content, and you grant us a limited license to host, process, and display it as needed to operate the service (including AI analysis of your vision board to personalise your experience). Vendor catalog content is provided for discovery and may be sourced from third parties.

Disclaimers

Twine is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any vendor or outcome will meet your expectations. Bookings and agreements you make with vendors are between you and the vendor.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Scripps Labs LLC will not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for amounts exceeding what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

Changes and termination

We may update these Terms or suspend or discontinue the service. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.
